MI Systems Work Measurement &  Work Management software has been in continuous use since 1964 and is used in every industrialized state in the U.S. and Europe, Canada and Mexico in more than sixty different types of industry.

Our software began as an abbreviated shop floor system, which generated very accurate work simulations and standards, work descriptions and routings. An indirect activities program was added together with a special product model system which allowed variant planning and use of group technology. Later, an assembly planning and control system — including line balancing — was added.

In June of 1989, MI Systems completed its first version of the MCIE workstation, capable of work management & work measurement, integrated manufacturing engineering planning and control making this product the most extensive, computer integrated work management system available anywhere for work industrial engineers. Our software is the standard in work management. Over the years, we have added to and expanded our software to include the broader engineering planning and control needs of manufacturing, so we have included process planning, resource management, labor management and control, cost management, a manufacturing information system and a full, closed-loop, MRP II system.

Today, MI Systems software contains a computer integrated suite of products with contemporary software know-how combined with manufacturing expertise. Using advanced computer techniques and the latest in graphics driven systems technology, MI Systems brings to manufacturers, the most interactive and easy to use work management software available today. To date, there have been more than 5,000 engineers trained in the use of UnivEl.
