Wyndfall Conservatory Piano Studio Membership

Svetlana's private studio is a part of the Wyndfall Conservatory which consists of piano, flute, harp and composition instruction and performance. Membership in Svetlana's studio consists of private piano lessons, master classes, recitals and master classes with guest artists. Mrs. Harris' students participate in an annual piano recital where parents, friends and the community can celebrate the progress of each student.

Mrs. Harris believes that each student is unique and custom tailors each student's lesson plan for his or her own specific needs. She is dedicated to her students and is very knowledgeable about all aspects of western culture and piano technique. Mrs. Harris believes that being sensitive and listening to student's goals and aspirations are key to a successful study program. Mrs. Harris' teaching style, curriculum, and approach are always flexible and varied for each student. Music is a joy and lessons should be enjoyable because piano study is not always easy but it should always be satisfying. Mrs. Harris emphasizes initiative and self-direction and encourages creativity and originality of expression.

Private Piano lessons consist of performance preparation for school performances, private recitals, solo work and competition preparation. All fundamentals are covered with a daily routine outlined for each student. Mrs. Harris tailors her approach and practice routine with an emphasis placed on the well being of the student so that the student may reach his or her maximum potential. Preparation for university or conservatory auditions is also available.
